Acceptance

By accessing or using AwesomePlays ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

AwesomePlays is a free platform for tracking your video game library, rating games, connecting with friends, and discovering new games. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use AwesomePlays.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You may not use another person's account or create accounts using automated means.
• Usernames must be appropriate — we reserve the right to reclaim or change usernames that impersonate others or violate these terms.

User content

You retain ownership of content you post (messages, profile information, ratings). By posting content, you grant AwesomePlays a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform. You are solely responsible for the content you post and must not post anything that:

• Is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or abusive.
• Infringes any third party's intellectual property rights.
• Contains spam, malware, or unsolicited commercial communications.
• Impersonates another person or entity.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms without notice.

Third-party services

The Service integrates with Steam, Xbox, Google, and IGDB. Your use of those integrations is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not affiliated with Valve, Microsoft, Google, or Twitch/Amazon.

Advertising

The Service displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. By using the Service you acknowledge and agree to the display of these advertisements.

Intellectual property

Game names, cover art, and metadata are the property of their respective owners. AwesomePlays displays this data via the IGDB API for informational purposes. The AwesomePlays name, logo, and original platform code are our property.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of game data, or that the Service will meet your requirements.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AwesomePlays shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time via the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
