How we keep the lights on
AwesomePlays is free, with no paywalled features. Right now it is entirely self-funded. Server costs, domain, and everything else comes out of pocket. Here is what we are working on to make that sustainable.
Display advertising
We are working toward running a single banner ad at the top of the page through Google AdSense. That will be the only ad on the site, with no pop-ups, no interstitials, and no tracking walls. AdSense approval is still in progress, so the slot may be empty for now.
If you use an ad blocker, we understand. It will not affect your experience and we will not ask you to disable it.

We are affiliate partners with Humble Bundle, Amazon, G2A, and Kinguin. When you click one of those links on AwesomePlays and make a purchase, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the same either way.
We only link to stores we would recommend anyway. Any affiliate relationship will always be disclosed.
Patreon
If you want to support AwesomePlays directly, you can back us on Patreon. Every contribution goes toward server costs, the domain, and keeping the site running. There are no features locked behind it.
The Game Advisor (our AI-powered recommendation feature) currently requires a request to keep bot traffic in check, but Patreon is not required. Just email [email protected] and we will get you set up.
